Dorthy's ruby slippers from the wizard of oz 
i went to Washington DC for a school field trip . Every day we came back to the hotel at 10:00 p.m. and we went many places. wednesday we drove 12 hrs . to get there . thursday we went to embassy rowe , arlington ceremony , the fords theatre , and a night tour of the elimited monuments . At Arlington , we got to lay wreath at the tomb of the unknown solider and got to see the military to a special ceremony . my favorite monumet of that night was the korean memorial . you could see the terror on the soliders faces . Friday we went to the WHITE HOUSE ( we wernt able to take pictures ) , Mt.Vernon, the capital , library of congress and more night monuments . my favorite friday night memorial was the WWII memorial . it was beautiful . saturday we toured all the smithsonian museums . my favorites were the holocaust museum , and the american history museum . and we saw the einstien memorial . Sunday we drove home . it was a great trip .
